Hungary Missions Trip
2026

Led by
David Dixon

Hungary sits at the heart of Europe — but the heart of Jesus is largely unknown there, with evangelical Christians making up less than 5% of the population. While the country has historic ties to Roman Catholicism and Calvinism, the majority of Hungarians today are non-practicing or secular, meaning most young people have little meaningful exposure to the Gospel or to authentic Christian community.

The team will serve the week of July 5-11 at Élet Szava Tábor, a summer camp that draws Hungarian kids from a wide range of backgrounds. Volunteers will lead English instruction, drama, volleyball, and other sports — but the real ministry happens in the in-between moments: games, conversations, and shared meals where genuine relationships are built and faith is shared in hope of leaving a lasting Gospel impact.

Support This Trip

To make this trip possible, the team is raising approximately $12,000 to cover airfare and on-site costs. Every dollar given goes directly toward putting the team on the ground in Hungary. Should your support exceed this goal, then every dollar given beyond this will go toward supporting Eastern PA Church Planting.
